v0.7.1
Communications represent specific message-response pairs that the trainee can use with GOAT's Communication module. When opening the module, trainees select a contact, then select from a predetermined list of messages, and finally see a prewritten response to their message by the contact. The contacts represent others who may be working on the grid in various capacities, which is intended to help the trainee learn how to collaborate.
The messages available to the trainee, or the responses to those messages, may change as they progress through the scenario. Communications use Accomplishment prerequisites and antirequisites to change when they are displayed.
Name
Supervisor - Correctly Tell Resolved
Contact
Shift Supervisor
Abbreviation
OverloadResolved
Message
The transmission overload is mitigated.
Response
Excellent. Let me know if any more problems arise.
This communication may have a prerequisite for some OverloadMitigated accomplishment. There may be another near-identical communication called "Tell Resolved Too Early," with OverloadMitigated as an antirequisite, a response rebuking the trainee, and a violation. Completing that accomplishment would switch which communication is available and thus which response is triggered.
